All content published by the USS Frank E. Evans Association across our website, newsletters, and social media accounts is governed by our mission to support and honor the sailors of the USS Frank E. Evans, their families, and all persons who have served in the United States Armed Services.
Types of Content We Publish:
- Commemorations of military holidays, remembrance days, and national observances (e.g., Memorial Day, Veterans Day)
- Stories, tributes, and photographs honoring U.S. service members and veterans, particularly those sailors who served aboard the USS Frank E. Evans
- Updates on reunions, memorials, and Association-sponsored events
- Educational posts about U.S. military history and service-related milestones, particularly related to the USS Frank E. Evans
- Calls to action, fundraising initiatives, or announcements that support our programs or advocacy work to add the names of the Lost 74 to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall
- Recognition of partner organizations and initiatives aligned with our mission
We do not publish content that:
- Is politically partisan or promotes candidates, parties, or legislation
- Disparages any branch of service, veteran, or military family
- Contains inflammatory or controversial material unrelated to our purpose
- Distracts from our mission of remembrance, unity, and service
All content is curated or authored with the goal of uplifting the values of honor, integrity, and national service. Submissions and suggestions are welcome but will be reviewed for alignment with this policy before publishing.
